Laser Etching

Laser etching is the removal of material from a substrate by using a laser to melt, vaporise, and otherwise ablate the target material, in order to leave behind a desired shape or structure. The etching process is usually computer controlled in order to fully realise the benefits of the accuracy of the laser.
