Disk Media
Disk media is the primary source of storage on many computers. They are usually fabricated by depositing a thin film of magnetic alloy onto a glass or aluminium substrate. The magnetic orientation on the media is then either interpreted as binary 1 or 0, or conversely, digital information is converted and written onto the media.
