T
he last 5 years have been challenging, with the Covid-19 pandemic forcing us to continuously
adapt to the ever-changing market conditions. We were met with a price increases due to a myriad of
factors, such as the manpower shortages and disruptions to the supply chain. The way we approached
building and installation works also had to be changed in lieu of the safe distancing measures
implemented by the Government. Nonetheless, we had risen to the challenge together, giving advices
and lending helping hands whenever needs arise.
Now, in 2024, we are met with a new set of difficulties brought about by the geo-political
unrests and fightings. From this, it is evident that market conditions will not be certain. Although we
cannot control what happens in the future, we can control how we react in the future. By maintaining
the spirit of unity and collaboration, is a great way to forge ahead and overcome whatever challenges
thrown our way. After all, we are stronger together than alone.
The Singapore Electrical Trades Association (SETA) is glad to have the privilege to work
together with Marshall Cavendish over the years, and looks forward to continuing this partnership not
just in difficult time but also as a source for good references and publicity. SETA leadership team
believes this partnership is another way that will benefit its members to achieve greater heights.
